SMS Markaz FAQ

SMS Markaz offers instantaneous and dynamic delivery reports (also known as CDRs) to let you know the status of the Branded SMS Text messages you have sent out, in a very easily understandable format. In addition, you can also download the reports into a PDF file for greater analysis. This facility is available to all Branded SMS messages, including international messages.

A delivered report is generated only after the subscriber handset confirms receipt of an SMS.

To check delivery reports

1. Click on SENT SMS link under Branded SMS menu
2. The message sending date and time is given there. The status of message is also given there
3. If the message is Delivered the status will be "Delivered", the time and date of the delivery will be printed there as well.
4. If the message is in Pending state you will see the status as "Pending"
5. If the message is not delivered the status will be "UnDelivered" or "Failed"

Reasons of non delivery of your messages

* inactive or unidentified or untraceable destination mobile number entered
* mobile handset memory or inbox full
* mobile handset is switched off for more than 3-5 days (depending on the network carrier's maximum time)
* no credit balance available to receive the SMS Text message (applicable in few countries where users have to pay money to receive SMS)
